About MyTown Originals
Like most successful business ideas MyTown Originals began as a customer request. The story starts out a little before that in an old yellow school bus in a small town called Ohiopyle, Pennsylvania. Two young whitewater rafting guides, Fred Wright and Scott Bortree, in order to make some extra money, decided to take up screen printing as a part-time business.
Ohiopyle Prints grew into a national company within just a few short years spreading all the way to the other side of the country. One day a small grocery store called and asked for shirts with the town's name printed on them. Fred and Scott thought what a crazy idea, but like all good business people did what the customer wanted. Wow, were they surprised when the customer called back and reordered more and more product! Their shoppers loved them. As a result MyTown Originals was born to fill this simple need.
Since then hundreds of MyTown employees, customers and vendors have contributed to make MyTown the great product it is today.
MyTown Originals now sells to customers in all 50 states and has produced products for almost every town big and small. We'd like to thank all of our loyal customers who've supported us over the years. We'd like to say how much we've enjoyed helping millions of people connect with their local town's spirit.
